Hey host,
Today, I want to talk about a big mistake that website owners often make regarding WordPress backups.
While this might sound like a tiny mistake, it could potentially delete all your site data forever.
The mistake I am talking about is NOT taking an offsite backup and keeping the backup file only in the same location where your website is hosted.
If you truly want to secure your site, you'll also need to keep a copy somewhere else, like on your computer, or on a cloud storage service.
Note: WAIT, are you still not using a backup plugin? I highly recommend using this FREE backup tool, Duplicator, that my team built.
👉 Take a look: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
Using Duplicator is like having an 'Undo' button - but for your entire WordPress site!
It creates reliable, rock-solid backups that you can restore with just a few clicks.
The free plugin is just what most website owners need. If you want advanced features, like regular automated backups and cloud storage integration, then you can upgrade to its Pro version.
Start taking offsite backups and secure your website today.
Cheers,
