How to Get GA4 Site Annotations and Notes in WordPress

Hey host,

Have you ever found a spike in Google Analytics and wondered what caused it?

Maybe you sent a promo email on that day. Maybe it's because of Google's algorithm update.

If you want to track what impacts your website traffic, then you'll need to add short notes to your Analytics report.

Unfortunately, unlike Universal Analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) doesn't support short notes or site annotations.

As you may know, Universal Analytics will be sunsetting on July 1. To keep track of internal changes that impact traffic, you'll need to find an alternative way to add short notes to your Analytics report.
